Registration and Payment:
Payment in full is required at the time of registration. You may register and pay: In person, in the store, by mail with a check, or by phone with a credit card. Class fees are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled or you cancel from the class with at least 1 week prior notice. We reserve the right to cancel class if a minimum of students is not met. If you must cancel a class you will receive a store credit to be used on another class or store merchandise.
Class supplies and kits are not included in the class fee. Supplies must be purchased at Paula’s Fine Fabrics. Patterns and books cannot be shared or photocopied because of copyright laws. Guest are not allowed to sit in on a class.
Students must arrive on time and with your sewing machine in good working order.
Machines of our choice are available to rent for $5.00 per class session if you wish not to bring your machine. Please let us know if you need to rent a machine when you register for class.
Please be considerate of others and turn off your cell phone while in the class room.
BERNINA SOFTWARE INSPIRATIONS CLUB $10
Opened To All BERNINA V7 Software Owners
After the video lesson and discussion, we will work through the lesson as time permits. Bring your computer, power cord, mouse and dongle if interested in hands on time. PLUS, receive a Club discount on all of your purchases (excluding machines) that day. This is a wonderful way to learn all of the software features.

BERNINA LIFESTYLES CLUB $10.00
Opened to ALL BERNINA Machine Owners
Learn all the wonderful features of your BERNINA machines. Presser feet, techniques, short cuts and creative design projects are the focus of each class. If you preregister and pay for class, you will receive a class CD which includes all class information, PLUS, receive a club discount on all of your purchases (excluding machines) that day. This is a lecture class; no supply list and no machine needed. Taught by Bonnie.

Learn how to thread your serger and do all the basic stitches in this class.

This will be class one where you will learn all the basics of your new BERNINA sewing machine. Please bring a pastel colored thread and new size 12 needle. I will provide the fabric. Must have purchased your machine from Paula’s.

DESIGNS WORKS SOFTWARE $20
Opened to all BERNINA owners of this software
Work with the software and tools in DesignWorks (Cutwork, PaintWork and CrystalWork). Bring your computer, power cord, mouse and dongle. We will meet every other month and you will receive a CD with two monthly lessons included.

SIT AND SEW $5
We are opening up our class room every other Monday for you to get away from it all and just come and sew. We have several irons and ironing boards, cutting tables for you to use and if you need help we will be there for you. So get your friends together and come have fun. We hope to see more participation.

SUE GREEN BAKER BABY LOCK ADVANCED SERGER THREE DAY EVENT $249

We finally have the Sue Green Baker Advanced Serger Event you have been waiting for.
You must have already taken the Beginning Serger Event that she teaches before taking this one. Class fee is $249.00 which includes a CD with the 3 workbooks in a PDF file to print or save to your favorite electronic device. You will complete one workbook each day in class. Fee includes a fabric sample packet each day to complete the three fully illustrated, in color, step by step workbooks! Lunch is also included each day.
A Baby Lock Ovation or Evolution Serger can be furnished for your use in class if you do not own an Ovation or Evolution!
Class size is limited so please sign up early. We are taking registrations now for this class.
BEGINNING MACHINE QUILTING $50
This class would be good for someone that has never quilted or if you would just like to take a refresher to learn the right way to do things. We will teach from Alex Anderson’s beginning quilt book making a rail fence baby sized quilt. You will learn everything from making the blocks, putting them together and how to put it all together and put on binding. Taught by Mable Holiman.

HANDS ON EMBROIDERY CLUB $20
This hands on class will be offered to all embroidery machine owners. For most of the classes, I will be teaching from a BERNINA program called ALL ABOUT EMBROIDERY. We will watch the video program on how to make the project and then stay and make it. The embroidery design and all instructions are included in the class fee. You will receive a CD with the designs and instructions.
The first program will be a zipper case with machine embroidery and stitching with your machine using a circular embroidery attachment. This would be a great way to learn your machine.

BEGINNING SEWING $70
In this 4 week class you will learn how to use and clean your sewing machine. Then you will learn how to choose fabrics, and how to choose and read a pattern and how to cut it out. After learning the basics you will choose a simple pattern for either a blouse or skirt and make your first garment. Taught by Mary Lou Beyreis.

QUILTS FOR KIDS CHARITY EVENT
Our shop has signed on to be the Jacksonville Chapter for Quilts for Kids
Thurs. Oct. 27, 10:00
We will have our first meeting October 27 at 10:00. Please join us this first day to help us sew quilts. We will have kits provided that are very simple to make and I will provide sewing machines. All quilts made here will be donated locally to places like Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital. We plan to make this a monthly event and I hope we can get lots of support.
FOLD’N STITCH WREATH $35
